Looking for one of the most interactive dinner experiences in the Twin Cities? Experience an evening of mystery, comedy, and audience participation with The Murder Mystery Company's Public Murder Mystery Dinner Theater Shows.
Inspired by nearly 25 years of producing immersive entertainment, our public shows combine a delicious dinner with a live interactive mystery where the audience becomes detectives working together to solve the crime before the killer strikes again.
This isn't a traditional dinner theater performance where you simply sit and watch. Your table becomes part of the investigation as you gather clues, question suspects, compare theories, and make accusations in a mystery where the killer could be anybody in the room.
Our professional actors guide the experience from beginning to end, creating an environment where introverts and extroverts alike can participate at whatever level feels comfortable.
Can your group solve the mystery before the final reveal?
From the moment you arrive, you'll enter a world where everyone becomes part of the story.
Some outgoing guests may be invited to become suspects in the evening's mystery, complete with simple character information and light costume pieces. Everyone else joins the investigation as detectives working with their table to gather clues, question suspects, and solve the crime.
Our professional actors guide the experience every step of the way, making participation easy, fun, and completely optional.
Whether you're leading the interrogation or quietly comparing clues with your tablemates, there's a role for every personality type.

A murder mystery dinner show is a live, interactive theater experience where professional actors perform a whodunit story around your meal — and you’re part of the action. At the Stillwater Events Center in Stillwater, Minnesota, you’ll spend the evening uncovering clues, questioning suspicious characters, and competing with others at your table to solve the crime before dessert is served. It’s a lively night out where the audience plays just as big a role as the cast.
The show itself runs approximately two hours. Doors open thirty minutes before showtime, and we recommend arriving within that window — late arrivals are not permitted entry once the show has begun. Plan for roughly two and a half to three hours total for the full evening, including dinner.
Tickets can be purchased through our website at murdermysterydinnerminneapolis.com. Gift cards are also available and can be redeemed for ticket purchases through Eventbrite. Note that gift cards apply to public show tickets only and cannot be used toward private events.
